Don Bosco, SSA move into semis

GUWAHATI, April 22: Don Bosco High School and Shrimanta Sankar Academy stormed into the semifinals of the Nabin Chandra Tamuly Inter School Cricket Tournament, organized by Guwahati Sports Association, at Nehru Stadium on Tuesday. Don Bosco High School beat SAI–RNS Academy by 9 wickets in the first match while Shrimanta Sankar Academy thrashed Angels of God School by 154 runs.

Brief Scores: SAI–RNS Academy 81/10 in 20 overs (Julius Muchahari 36, Aryaman Pangal 5/13) lost to Don Bosco High School 82/1 in 14.3 overs ( Nihal Das 51no, Mani Karna Sharma 13).

Shrimanta Sankar Academy 222/3 in 25 overs (Tanuz Kalita 83, Debasish Saikia 40, Aman Sohail Haque 40, Sahil Ahmed 2/41) bt Angels of God School 68/9 in 25 Overs ( Dhruba Rajbongshi 19, Abhilash Goswami 3/12).

Today’s matches: Faculty High School vs Nichol High School; Ulubari HS School vs Catital Public School.
